Tuesday was forecast to be the most rainy day, with ongoing severe weather risk anticipated across multiple regions of both areas.

Medical authorities warned that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the northern rural areas, specifically given the existing atmospheric conditions.
